Injuries suffered in motorcycle accidents tend to be more severe than those suffered in other types of motor vehicle collisions because you don't have the frame of a car to protect you. Riders and passengers will more than likely suffer from broken limbs, brain damage, loss of legs and road rash, and other serious injuries that can result. After the accident, the Insurance Company will come and offer you anything but an explanation of your full right of recovery to get your name on a release to protest their insured. You deserve to know the truth, and with the help of my staff and me, we can work to obtain the full recovery you deserve.

Talk to a Motorcycle Accident Attorney! With over 40 years of handling motorcycle accidents, we know how to obtain the best recovery.

Attorney Ritzo has successfully represented thousands of motorcycle operators injured or killed because of another motor vehicle operator's negligence.

Motorcycle accident victims can range from Harley riders to Gold Wing Riders and everything in between. This law firm has specialized in motorcycle accidents that present different insurance options and accident factors than an automobile. We know that the first words out of the defendant's mouth most of the time are I didn’t see the bike coming. We know that loud pipes save lives. Attorney Joseph A. Ritzo, P.C. Rye, New Hampshire, understands people who have been injured in motorcycle accidents; your bike is your pride and joy. Representing Motorcycle Accident Injury Victims in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine
In Massachusetts, an operator of a motorcycle who suffers injuries resulting from a collision with a fellow cyclist or automobile operator is legally ineligible to receive "Personal Injury Protection" benefits, also known as "no-fault" benefits, as a result of the incident. As a result, you are not restricted to the Massachusetts threshold. If you had a good agent, you were offered Medical Payment coverage to pay for your medical bills for up to one year after the accident with minimum limits of $1,000.00. You can, and we recommend you purchase a more significant amount of coverage for your own best interest. The minimum requirement for insurance is $20,000.00.

In New Hampshire, an operator of a motorcycle or vehicle who enters Massachusetts state is not governed by the Massachusetts threshold to collect for injuries suffered due to some else negligence. It is in effect because New Hampshire residences do not have (PIP) Personal Injury and Protection coverage available to them. Because we can travel from state to state in New England daily, this is important for awareness. You are not required in New Hampshire to have insurance if you own your vehicle; if not, the state minimum requirement is $25,000.00

In Maine, a resident who carries medical payment coverage is required by the policy to repay the amount of payment made by their insurance company, unless the settlement amount is $20,000.00 or less. Also, if counsel represents the person, a reduction will be given by the insurance company for attorney fees when reimbursing the company. The state of Maine carries a minimum liability limit of $50,000.00

Defective or negligently maintained premises are among the most common sources of serious personal injuries and wrongful death. The range of defective conditions which give rise to “premises liability” claims is extensive. Examples of defective premises associated with severe injury or death include defective building construction, inadequate building maintenance, unfilled holes inland, unapparent obstructions, lack of conformity with State building code regulations, including defects in stairway design or maintenance, lack of required railings, inadequate lighting, defective flooring, defective electrical wiring, defective plumbing, injuries caused by broken glass, injuries caused by defective heating systems, such as carbon monoxide poisoning and gas leaks, defective building repairs, deck failures caused by rot or other eroding building materials, egress related issues, and other building and land-related hazards.

At Joseph A. Ritzo Law Firm, we have handled them all with a successful conclusion. Contact the office at (800) 232-7533 for a free consultation or complete the questionnaire provided.

Unlike other kinds of personal injury cases, which require the plaintiff to prove fault on the part of the defendant, a victim of a dog attack need only to show that the injuries were inflicted by the dog (as opposed to some other cause) and did not result from “teasing or tormenting” of the dog before the injury. In many instances, a “homeowner’s” insurance policy, held by the dog’s owner at the time of the attack, will provide coverage to the victim for the injuries and losses sustained. We have extensive experience representing adults and children injured by dogs, including claims for facial scarring and disfigurement, loss of tissue, near amputation of fingers, deep puncture wounds, psychological trauma, and other related injuries and losses
